David Coblentz is the principal instructor at the Decatur School of Arms in Decatur, Georgia, where he teaches the art of the rapier according to the Italian tradition. David was certified as a fencing master by a board of maestri in May 2010. His training came primarily from the San Jose Fencing Masters Program. His approach to instruction combines modern fencing pedagogy with historical rapier sources.
